Harku Manor

Harku Manor

Harku Manor, which used to belong to the Livonian Order, was first mentioned in 1372. Its contemporary Neo-Renaissance style originates from 1875. The outbuildings worth seeing include a livestock complex with historicist gables and picturesque ruins of a two-towered greenhouse resembling a medieval stronghold. In addition to the main building, today you can also see a stable-coach house and a granary bordering the long front square of the main building. The manor can be viewed from the outside only. An interesting fact: In 1710, the famous capitulation agreement was signed in Harku Manor and this ended the Great Northern War right there on the spot.
