Estonian War Museum, founded in 1919, was restored in 2001 under the name of Estonian War Museum – General Laidoner Museum. Today, the EWM collects, preserves, researches and exhibits Estonian military and cultural heritage.
The permanent and temporary exhibitions of the War Museum tell the story of wars fought in Estonia, the service of Estonians and local minorities in the military forces of other countries, and wars fought elsewhere in the world with the participation of Estonians.
The hangar of military heavy equipment is open from May until October, Friday to Sunday, from 11 am until 6 pm.
