Snowshoes take you to places in the bog where the boardwalk can’t!
Viru Bog is located 50 kilometers from Tallinn. There is a beautiful pine forest, blue bog lakes, and a lookout tower. We will explore the bog and feel the spongy ground underfoot. We can pick berries if they’re in season. The guide will talk about bog plants, animals, and local lore and explain why bogs are important ecosystems.
