Kolga Museum

Kolga Museum

The earliest records of Kolga Manor date back to the 13th century, when it belonged to the son of Danish King Valdemar II, Duke Kanut, who ruled over the Estonian Duchy. Even today, the main building retains some of the grandeur of that time. Kolga Museum, located in the main building of the manor complex, showcases the history and rich cultural heritage of Kuusalu Parish.  In addition to the permanent exhbition, there are also seasonal exhibitions. Good to know: by using a guide, you can explore the many rooms of Kolga Manor, enjoy the views and alvars of Muuksi Hill, which sits atop the North Estonian klint, and venture into Turje cellar and other exciting places.
